Abstract

The present work proposes to develop a web system for the management of statistical information of the administrative personnel, teachers, and students of the educational institutions that make up the Confederación Ecuatoriana de Establecimientos de Educación Católica (CONFEDEC). This objective is to automate the data collection and storage processes required by the CONFEDEC institution, minimizing working hours, and having organized, secure and integrated information. Allowing the institution to make decisions that benefit the catholic educational institutions of Ecuador, and for the realization of recreational, sports, or social events that involve teachers and students. The project has been developed following the parameters of the agile Scrum methodology and is based on the architectural pattern Model – View – Controller (MVC), fulfilling the objective of managing information.
