Abstract

The recruitment and selection processes are transcendental in the management of human talent, since they directly affect the rotation of personnel. This paper investigates the way in which these processes are carried out in multinational companies located in Quito, to identify the main means and techniques used. The study is descriptive, with a quantitative approach, given that a survey is made to a sample of nine companies, selected in the opinion of the authors. The main conclusion is that it deprives internal recruitment through the promotion of the personnel of the same company, promoting professional growth, while when carrying out external recruitment, technological tools have had a strong role, using digital media, prevailing the platforms of Multitrabajos and Computrabajo. As for the selection, the traditional interview is used, followed by tests either psychotechnical or knowledge, which has implied a staff turnover of less than 20%.
